What Is a Special Tree Zone?

Cities have become smoke chambers, soil has become toxic and water is impure, all because we forgot to create a place in our lifestyles for our Life Creators & Maintainers - TREES.

Special Tree Zones (STZs) are Hydragreens' approach to creating native, biodiversity-rich green spaces within cities and other developed areas. STZs use carefully selected, site-specific native tree species planted in suitable clusters to create compact urban forest ecosystems. They can be developed in small and medium-sized spaces such as parks, institutional and corporate campuses, roadsides, community areas and backyards.

 

Rather than focusing only on the number of trees planted, STZs aim to support biodiversity, ecological restoration, habitat creation and long-term green cover through appropriate species selection, planting design and maintenance.

STZs demonstrate that meaningful urban greening does not always require a large forest area. Even smaller spaces, when thoughtfully designed and maintained, can contribute to healthier and more biodiverse cities.

The time has come that we as Individuals, Organisation or Govt. create  Nature Zones  called STZs (Special Tree Zones) where Native Trees are protected and we can experience a breath of fresh and clean air. We can fight the menace of pollution- Land, air & water if we all create a small space for Trees Zones instead of just grasses in our parks, compounds & work areas.
